Come with us as we depart from St Pete Beach to Egmont Key for a half-day private snorkeling adventure. On this cruise you get a fascinating history tour, and plenty of fun family snorkeling. And if you are new to snorkeling, our crew will give you training and guidance on how to snorkel and have a great time.
On our 30 minute ride to Egmont Key, we're likely to see dolphins, manatees, rays and more. Once we're on the island, you will get a short guided tour of the 150 year old ruins of the 70 buildings that made up old Fort Dade. While we walk amongst the tortoises that make the island their home, we'll show you the old lighthouse, the civil war era cemetery, the old railroad system, and the historic gun batteries. No other tour company provides this fascinating history tour.
We then take you to Egmont Key's sunken ruins for the best snorkeling in St Pete Beach, offering a variety of colorful tropical fish. But we don't stop there. We then take you to Shell Key island, for even more snorkeling. At Shell Key, you'll snorkel with the rays, sand dollars, starfish, and sometimes manatees! Only Island Ferry lets you snorkel both islands on the same trip!
